Rubbertoe  Replicas  is  proud  to  present  the  new  FULLY LICENSED  12th  Doctor’s  Sonic Screwdriver!

This stunning piece is an exact replica of the iconic 12th Doctor's sonic screwdriver. The 12th Doctor's Sonic prop was made by our master prop maker, Nick Robatto, for the past series, starring Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor. The sonic was first featured at the end of the final episode of series nine, 'Hell Bent', and also featured in the Christmas episode 'The Husbands of River Song'.

Our sonic replica is crafted by master artisans right here in Wales. The metal pieces are precision cut by CNC and water jet, then hand painted and assembled in the Rubbertoe workshops. The sonic also features working LED lights that have four different settings; static blue, pulsing blue, static green and chasing green. There will also be added sound with a different sound effect for each lighting effect.

The 12th Doctor's Sonic comes with its own custom made stand with a numbered plaque signed by Nick Robatto, and a beautiful metal presentation box with laser engraved foam insert.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The text and graphics printed on the case lid will be printed on with black ink.

It was decided by the Doctor Who art department that the sonic would be finished with a spray paint. This was because they want the sonic to age as the doctor uses it; though the paint finish is pretty durable, heavy handling may cause the paint to wear thin or chip in places.

The run will be set to 500, each base will be individually numbered and signed by Nick.

The lighting and sound effect chip will run off a 4AG13 battery delivering 6v. These are easily changed by screwing off the end cap.
