We are pleased to offer our 2nd Edition Vortex Manipulator, based this time on the original Series 1 version, created by Mark Cordory. The main function of a Vortex Manipulator is to transport the user through time and space via the Time Vortex. Used by Captain Jack Harkness, the Family of Blood, Captain John Hart, River Song, the Eleventh Doctor, Cloaked figure and Clara Oswald.
This replica will be made from real leather and stitched with a combination of machine and hand stitching. The main face of the device is made from SLA resin and is sprayed silver, as per the original prop. The device will feature working LED lights powered by a button cell battery accessed from the underside.
The Vortex Manipulator comes in a cylindrical 'time capsule' display tin, and will also have a certificate of authenticity featuring its edition number, signed by the maker, Nick Robatto.

The first version of the Vortex Manipulator was created by the talented prop maker Mark Cordory back in the first new series of Doctor Who.
This prop replica is not a toy, it's suitable for cos-play, everyday wear (provided it is treated with care) and looks great on display in it's wooden box. Due to the nature of its construction by the human hand and the natural variations inherent in real leather, there may be slight variations in colour and finish from one replica to another and the prototype shown. Do not expect time travel with this device as it's deactivated before leaving the workshop!
